Setting The Will of God in Motion!!

February 23rd, 2012

There are thousands of people writing every minute of every day and to put to simply, I am just one of them. There are varying degrees of subjects, with little or no value, but of course my goal is not to be named among them. But there is also a group of people who are writers and who believe, that they words that they write, can make a difference in the lives of others. I would like to be in that group.

It is my personal belief that the spoken word is the most power force on the earth.  It is with words that we set things in motion. There are many different ideas I could present, one being, God created everything in the beginning by speaking words. And to some it is a very simplistic way of looking at creation.

I have a question, how does God speak in the earth today? This is what happens, the Spirit of God  speaks to a man and or womens heart in a still small voice, and that man and or women must decide whether it is or is not from the Spirit of God. The reason I say this is because we as indviduals hear voices in our heads, ie.. don’t forget to bring the milk home, I have a meeting at 5:00 pm. We all have inner voices but sometimes just sometimes the voice is not ours. If he or she decides that it is the voice of the Lord they then mix faith with that word or message and speak it out in the earth.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

So what is faith and how does it work. There are two parts to faith and both are needed to work and there are no exceptions. The two parts are speaking and believing. They are needed for salvation Romans 10:8-10

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Mark 11:22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith of God.23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

This sets in motion the will of God in the earth. So we have all heard that God has no hands in the earth unless they are ours like wise God has no voice in the earth unless it also is ours. Therefore our words set the will of God in motion in the earth.

Sad Day in History

July 2nd, 2010

I am sure that we could all say we have had bad days, but I would like to tell you of a day you may not have heard about.

There was a person that was a priest in Israel just before David came on the seen, that is King David, and the priests name was Eli and he had to sons Phinhas and Hopni. They were priests of the Most High.

But Phinhas and Hopni were worthless slugs; these two boys hated their service to the Lord.

One of the responsibilities was to keep the oil in the Golden Lamp Stand and it was to be filled at all times because the fire was never to go out.

Well our two heroes (not) not only let it go out they relit it with the wrong fire. The position that they held was one of honor and this was a big thing that was violated.

At the time all this was happening, the Children of Israel were going into battle with the Philistines. Phinhas and Hopni were sleeping on the steps of the temple with the daughters of the children of Israel.

Israel wanted to win the battle against the Philistines so they thought that they would send the Ark of the Covenant into battle with their soldiers.

Unfortunately the outcome of the battle was very bad. It was so bad that both of Eli’s sons, Phinhas and Hopni were killed in the battle they were the two who carried the Ark of the Covenant, and the Ark of the Covenant was captured by the Philistines.

Phinhas’s wife was pregnant, and when she heard that her husband died in battle, she went into labor.

She ended up dying during childbirth and had a son named Ichabod (the anointing has left us). It gets better, when Eli heard that his sons died in battle, and his daughter-in-law died in childbirth, and the Ark of the Covenant captured by the Philistines, and he (Eli) being overweight, fell off the stool that he was sitting on and broke his neck.

All of these events happened in one day; therefore it was a sad day in history.

I’ll bless those who bless Israel & curse those who curse Israel

November 17th, 2009

Genesis 12:2-3 I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.

It is sad for me to say this but the President of my own country has and is violating this very principle. The out come will not be good for him personally or our country and its citizens as a whole.

My question is what does the curse of God look like and how will it come, will it be fire from heaven to consume people or could it come as a famine across the great land like Egypt, or will it be directed at him personally? The history of the country of Israel is important on this matter. God the father of Abraham told Abraham that the blessing would come through Isaac and not Ishmael but Ishmael would be blessed because of Abraham.
Please make comments and I will post them.

Events Are Unfolding Before Our Very Eyes

March 24th, 2009

As I began to hear then read about was is happening in my state of Missouri, it made me angry. I need to be carefull in even saying this because I could become a marked man by the state department called Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC). According to them there is a rise in militia activeity in which thoughs who are again abortions could be a card carring MILITIA MEN, they sight Eric Radouph as their reasoning, so all who are against abortion are in the same camp as old Eric, who is in prison were any bomb killing nut job should be. That is like saying every German will turn out just like Hitler. The point I am making with this it is easy to get side tracked.

With whirl wind of events unfolding before our very eyes it is easy to get caught up in them with our emotions runnng wild. We need to reel them in and remember what our jobs are. We are called to preach the gospel in season and out of season. We are to be the becons of hope in these trying times.  At one time in my life I wanted to get into politic but the Spirit of God reminded me of this very thing. That I am called to preach the gospel and bring help to the hurting.

It is true these events are unfolding before our eyes quickly so we need to cryout to God and ask for instruction on what is our exact part, and then be about it.

In Before Out

September 13th, 2008

We have all been taught from our beginning moments of our entrance into Christianity that we need to go out and evangelize. The main thrust of the great commission is “go ye into all the world…” But I am not sure if that is correct, I say this because we need to first go into the Holy of Holies, through intercession on behalf of the ungodly.

We need to go in before we go out. Here are a few things we should know:

1.      God does not hear the prayers of the unrighteous or the ungodly

2.      God always hears the prayers of the righteous

3.      We know the responsibility of an OT priest was to go to God on behalf of the people. To offer up a sacrifice for the sins that were committed.

4.      The High Priest once a year, on the Day of Atonement offered up a sacrifice for all the Children of Israel. This is what he would do:

  • He would kill an animal (a bull or a goat etc)
  • He then would take the blood from that animal and take it into the Holy Place
  • After he would wash up
  • He then proceeded into the Holy of Holies where he would sprinkle the blood from the animal that was just slain on the Mercy Seat which was in the Holy of Holies
  • If God accepted it the sacrifice, the Children of Israel were cleansed for another year. This happened year after year. But this has changed.

This is the intercession of the High Priest on behalf of the Children of Israel. But what do we have after Jesus shed his blood. We still need intercessors, but they do not offer the blood of bulls and goats on the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies on behalf of the people.

What intercessors are needed to do is take the blood of Jesus into the Holy of Holies and sprinkle it upon the Mercy Seat on behalf of the people around them, by asking God to forgive their sins and hear their prayers (the ungodly). Another thing we can ask God is to begin to speak to their hearts via the Holy Ghost both day and night and that their conscience would be pricked until they yield. As we pray and intercede, changes begin to happen in the hearts of the people we pray for then, when we or someone else begins to share or preach the gospel to them they become receptive to the message.

So my first statement of we need to go in before we go out is true, we need to go into the Holy of Holies and cry out for the lost(friends, family, strangers) before we go out to save the lost.

Something else along this line is I am not so sure that any one has ever been saved before someone else has not prayed or interceded for them first
